What is your name and the background of your name and the story behind how you were named?
“My name is Jarin, it originates from Bangladesh. The name means ‘treasure’.”
What is your astrological sign?
“I am a Capricorn”
Where are you from? And what is your ethnic background?
“I was born in Bangladesh but grew up in Brighton, UK. Both my parents are of Bangladeshi heritage.”
How many languages do you speak?
“I am bilingual- fluent in Bengali and English.”
What is your favorite food?
“I love going out to eat and trying new places. My favourite cuisine would be Turkish food like grills and lamb chops. Although I love anything spicy!”
What is your dream place to visit or travel?
“I really want to visit Iceland to see the northern lights. It’s one of many places that’s on my bucket list.”
Who would you like to have a conversation with, dead or alive?
“I would have liked to have a conversation with my grandad. He passed away when I was very young, I would have loved to hear stories about when he was younger and his time in the Royal Navy.”
What is your greatest goal?
“I would love to do more charity work and go back to my routes, make an impact in Bangladesh. It would make me beyond happy to make a difference in the lives of others.”
What is the most important thing to you on this earth?
“The most important thing to me is my family. I am the eldest and am very close to my younger brothers and sisters- almost a second mum figure.”
Name a few things you are grateful for.
“I am very lucky to be where I am right now, my parents worked very hard to bring us here, blessed me with a good education, given me all I wanted as a child. I have also worked hard on my career and to get into the modelling industry, the least I can do is make the most of all life has to offer.”
Where do you hope to see yourself in 10 years?
“I would like to have travelled and seen more of the world. I also hope to gain more recognition in the modelling industry.”
