What is your name and the background of your name and the story behind how you were named? 

“My name is Sophie, which means "Wisdom" in Greek.” 

What is your astrological sign? 

“I'm an Aries sun, Cancer moon, and leo rising.”

Where are you from? And what is your ethnic background?

“I’ve moved around across the US a lot as a child, I was born in Virginia but I grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico and San Diego, California mostly. I am Russian and Irish.”

How many languages do you speak? 

“I can only speak English fluently, though I am learning Spanish and Italian as a hobby.”

What is your favorite food? 

“I could eat sushi every day of the week!”

What is your dream place to visit or travel? 

“My dream travel destination has always been Costa Rica.”

Who would you like to have a conversation with, dead or alive?  

“If I could have a conversation with anyone dead or alive, I'd want to talk with my Granddad.” 

What is your greatest goal? 

“My biggest goal for myself is to always be happy, life is wild. I have no idea where I will be in the future, and I am okay with that as long as I'm enjoying the places I end up!”

What is the most important thing to you on this earth? 

“The most important thing to me is my community, my family, my friends, and my loved ones are something I couldn't live without.” 

Name a few things you are grateful for.  

“I am incredibly grateful to be able to be pursuing my education at an amazing university. I am also so grateful to be living in San Diego, it truly is amazing here.”

Where do you hope to see yourself in 10 years?

“I hope to be living my best life in 10 years, no matter what that looks like. Like I said earlier, my biggest goal for myself is to be happy and proud of my journey, where ever the destination ends up being.”
